EXPERIENCE
1 Year
Hanna’s love for travel began at 14 on her first international trip, and she has been chasing new experiences ever since. Born and raised on Maryland’s Eastern Shore, she later moved to San Diego to study Journalism & Media Studies and International Studies at San Diego State University – a degree combination that was almost predestined for someone as curious about the world as she is.
Her passion for culture quickly carried her beyond the classroom. She studied abroad in Milan, where she fell in love with Italy’s food culture and slower pace of life, and later spent a year living in Madrid teaching English. This experience deepened her belief that travel can broaden perspectives and create genuine human connections. Each place she’s lived has shaped the way she travels and the kinds of experiences she now creates for clients.
Today, Hanna brings that same curiosity and sense of discovery to every MavenLuxe itinerary she designs. She believes luxury is not just about beautiful hotels or seamless logistics. It’s about creating experiences that feel personal, transformative, and worth talking about long after you’re home. Her goal is always to design journeys that feel effortless while leaving space for spontaneity, connection, and stories worth telling forever.

Spain completely stole my heart during the year I lived in Madrid. I spent nearly every free moment exploring the country, and it still feels like there is always more to uncover. What I love most is the incredible diversity: vineyard hopping in La Rioja, beach clubs in Mallorca, late-night tapas in Seville, all within one trip. Portugal pairs beautifully as a companion destination, with its warm hospitality, incredible food scene, and understated charm.

As a San Diego local, I love helping clients experience California beyond the typical highlights. Some of my favorite itineraries include wine country retreats, coastal road trips, tucked-away wellness resorts, and design-forward boutique hotels that make you feel worlds away from everyday life. California has a rare ability to combine luxury with ease – and I love creating trips that capture that relaxed but elevated energy.

Scandinavia has a way of surprising people. What initially feels intimidating quickly becomes one of the most memorable regions to explore, blending striking natural beauty with incredible design, food, and culture.
Whether it’s cruising through Norway’s fjords, staying in remote wilderness lodges, or spending long summer evenings in Copenhagen, these trips always feel fresh, sophisticated, and entirely unlike anywhere else.

After spending time exploring the Riviera Maya on a recent FAM trip, I gained a whole new appreciation for the level of luxury, wellness, and thoughtful design found at Mexico’s adults-only resorts. These trips are perfect for travelers craving a true reset with slow mornings, exceptional spas, beautiful beachfront properties, and an atmosphere that encourages you to completely unwind.
I especially love matching clients with resorts that feel stylish, intimate, and far removed from the typical all-inclusive experience.
