This property quickly became a favorite and the rooftop bar alone is worth the stay. Sipping cocktails with a view of La Sagrada Familia? *chef’s kiss*. The lobby has this beautifully homey vibe that makes you feel like you’re staying at a chic friend’s place rather than a cookie-cutter hotel. Perfect if you want charm and easy access to major sights without the beachfront scene.
Hotel Condes de Barcelona
All about location and value. You’re steps from Rolex boutiques and Gaudí landmarks at a great price point. The rooftop has gorgeous sunset views. Rooms are comfortable and the neighborhood buzz means you’ll hear some street noise at night. Think of it as the soundtrack of Barcelona.
Serras Hotel Barcelona
The boutique gem sits right on the edge of the Gothic Quarter. The building has history, but the vibe is anything but stuffy. Breakfast is known as one of the best in the city, and the restaurant serves modern Catalan cuisine. You can’t miss the rooftop bar with an infinity pool overlooking the Med. This place is perfect for those who want sophistication without the formality.
El Palace Hotel
This hotel has old-world elegance down to a science, with it’s plush furnishings, fabric-covered walls, original fireplaces, and signature suites inspired by former guests. Located just steps from Passeig de Grácia, the Gothic Quarter, and Guadí’s masterpieces. There’s even a speakeasy-style cocktail bar called Bluesman. Classic luxury that knows how to have fun.
The Highlights
Gaudí’s Masterpieces – La Pedrera–Casa Milá and Casa Vicens are non-negotiable. Truly one of the most iconic Gaudí buildings. Whether you buy tickets to explore inside or just snap photos from the street, it’s a must-see
Tiberi Bar – Natural wines and beautifully crafted small plates, all inside a building so gorgeous you’ll want to photograph every corner. Order the Pluma Ibérica – tender shoulder cut of Iberian ham – that is magic on a plate.
Bimba Y Lola – A fun local find that has become the latest obsession. This Spanish brand has Golden Goose energy at half the price. The designer named it after her two dogs, which should tell you everything.

A personal favorite from the trip. Tucked in a quieter residential neighborhood yet just 10 minutes from the city center, it feels peaceful and intimate. The breakfast is outstanding, and live piano music fills the lobby each evening.
Mandarin Oriental Ritz
The most luxurious hotel in Madrid, hands down. Rooms overlook the Prado, the restaurant is exceptional, and they produce their own cava that rivals anything you’ve tasted. This is formal luxury at its finest.
Rosewood Madrid
Stylish, lively, effortlessly cool. Gorgeous rooms, fantastic bar scene and outstanding food bring the elevated luxury without formality. This place is perfect for sophisticated travelers who want a more relaxed vibe.
The Palace Madrid
Classic old-world grandeur after recent renovations. The suites are spacious and the location is excellent for first-time visitors who want to be central.
The Highlights
Prado Museum – The Prado is famous for its unparalleled collection of Spanish art, housing masterpieces by Velázques, Goya, and El Greco. Go early as lines get long, even in shoulder and low seasons, and highly recommend a guided tour. There’s so much depth and history here that you’d miss without expert insight.
Flamenco – Experiencing flamenco in Madrid (or Granada) is a non-negotiable. The passion, artistry, and emotion is unlike anything else.
LOEWE Private Shopping – For our shopaholics, we can arrange a private shopping experience for one of Spain’s most iconic luxury brands before opening hours. The experience is as luxurious as the products themselves. Extra suitcase space is highly recommended.
Posada de la Villa – A beautiful restaurant with fantastic food. A higher price point for Madrid’s food scene, but absolutely worth it. Order the lamb – a must – along with the salad and chorizo.
Tierra Calma Winery – Located in the mountains an hour away from Madrid, this winery specializes in natural wines. The reds are phenomenal, perfect for wine lovers with extra time.
